The 220 MHz guys are about getting together both on the air, and in person.

Feature 1

Our Saturday Morning Breakfast Meet and Greet! -- Please feel free to come out and join us sometime. Our Meet and Greet Breakfasts are held every Saturday, starting around 8:00 a.m. at P.J. Klems Restaurant, located at 8000 W. Ogden, in sunny Lyons, IL. The restaurant has ample, free parking. We are in an area of the restaurant that gives us a feeling of privacy. Just ask the hostess/host where the Ham Radio Breakfast is, and you will be directed. (Some people have been known to extend their stay into lunch, dinner, and even check into our 9:00 Original Preservation Net from here. But we won't name names.)

Some nice weather days, we go out and do a little fishing at the Hofmann Dam located just behind P.J. Klems. (Don't forget to bring your rods & reels.)

You do not need to be a member to come out and join us. But if you are curious about getting your amateur radio license, or already have one, and are looking for a great bunch of "hams" to elbow bend with, look no further. We'll be pleased to meet you!

Feature 2

Our annual, Post-Holiday Party! Always held the first Sunday in January. The 2020 date was January 5th, 2020, at 1:00 pm, and was once again held at Vince's Restaurant and Pizzeria, located at 6217 W. 63rd Street, Chicago. Always a delicious buffet, along with a great bunch of hams! (HiHi) We raffled off a BaoFeng tri-band UV-9S hand-held radio and a smiley 220 antenna. Great fun!

Feature 3

Annual picnics at Lake-Le-Aqua-Na State Park, located at 8542 N Lake Rd, Lena, IL. Rain or shine, an elbow-bending expedition in the woods, bring your rigs, and expect a day with lots of food being grilled by our 'BBQ experts.
