It happened!
Our seventh Field Day as a group.
Our fifth Field Day after being incorporated as a club!
and...
Celebrating the two year Anniversary, this past March, of the WM9W Repeater getting on the air, and bringing back - The Original "Preservation Net".™
Field Day 2016 was June 25-26.
1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday
And now… Field Day, the 220 MHz Guys way….
Our Seventh consecutive year of Field Day activities, originally as a group in 2010, and now as a club, was again a huge success. Thanks to all that attended and supported us. We had a good turnout with many visitors, and some additional operators and stations.
We, once again, held our Field Day activities at the Kankakee State Park, Davis Creek campground. As always, "All were welcome!"
Arrangements were made prior to camping overnight. All were self-sufficient for camping and food activities. Visitors (those who did not be camp overnight in our grove) were welcomed to visit and operate.
We had stations set-up for guests to operate. Those who wished to set-up their own station, were asked to let us know no less than one week prior to the start of the event (& all did so) so we could coordinate.
It was another great Field Day success!!
