July 21st, 2018 - K9s For Veterans Memorial Fundraiser Event

We ran a special event station to help raise awareness for The Forgotten Warrior Memorial Wall in Channahon State Park. The Forgotten Warrior Memorial Wall is a tribute to all veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and have been afflicted with PTSD, and sacrificed their lives beyond the limits of active duty. The fundraiser was for the very first and only, Forgotten Warrior Memorial Wall that honors those veterans. They were hoping to raise enough money to finally finish the memorial. The Memorial Wall is located in the Village of Channahon, IL at the Channahon State Park. It was unfortunate that the weather was rainy in the early hours, and kept many people away. K9S for Veterans, NFP is a wonderful group, and we are sure they will reach their goal. We will post the pictures when they complete the finished Memorial.
