Field Day was held on June 23-24, 2018. The weather was wonderful, a little bit of rain the first night (Friday). Warm days and cool nights were the menu this year. B Camp was brought back together with the addition of Fearless Leader’s cousin Bo. Steve and Patty and their grandsons Lexi and Adonis enjoyed their first Field Day in a few years. Friday night had some of Steve’s made-from-scratch chili. Outstanding!! Could have used some cornbread. (wink!) Saturday morning after breakfast, it was time to launch antennas. Got the stations up and running. 20 meters was open all night long, so we ran it as much as we could, taking turns. Everybody got a chance to operate including Steve’s grandsons, and Orlando’s son Victor. Fine business.
